Sometime soon, I need to do some marketing. I think the value in mysandiegolife.com - this social platform - isn't so much in just creating another personal profile page, besides your likely already existing myspace or facebook page, but the opportunity to connect with other people in San Diego.
Here we can create groups of people with similar interests (see the existing Jazz and Surfing groups - ya, I know, a little thin so far...). And the forums are a great way to discuss topics related to life in San Diego.
We need a good dose of marketing to jumpstart things. I think a solid month doing nothing but promoting mysandiegolife.com should help. But where oh where is that month??
Well for those who are coming, checking things out, and maybe signing up - let it be known that there are no catches here, and everything is free. We do not share your private information (email, name) with anyone, ever.

... I just stumbled across your site on google. I like what you have done, this is a great idea. With the right markerting approach this site will really take off. I would love to lend a hand in getting things moving. I know many people in the San Diego area who would be interested in this, I also earned my degree in Marketing. Let me know if your interested in some assistance. |

marketing hello all, so far I haven't seen a single ad on this website which is phenomenal. Marketing costs money though. Obviously selling advertising space helps. I understand that I may be subjected to an ad, but let's keep it relevant to san diego yeah? |

Marketing Hi Garry, I'm an italian advertising marketing manager and I love deeply San Diego (I was there during my honeymoon). What you (or we) need is quite simple: online advertising, even if you need money. Google Adwords are cost - effective and they work well to increase the audience of a site ! Let me know if you need a hand to create a marketing plan (you don't need money for my advices ;-)). |
