I was born and raised in OB. My uncle Phil was an original Longhorn. I have not seen the logo or ever heard of the club since his stories. I knew the Longhorns hand sign when I was 3 or 4. It's similarity to the peace sign confused some people in the early days. I only wish I could get my hands on a shirt. And that OB Gull sticker we loved so much. Thats the trade-off for quiet Oregon surf. I'm just amazed to see these images again. OB4EVR peace |
