Poway Sushi Lounge is located in the heart of Poway, in the Poway Library Plaza just west of Pomerado Road. We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, with a quick lunch menu for those on their lunch hour. Hours are everyday 11:30-2:30 and dinner Sunday-Thursday 5:00-9:30, Friday and Saturday until 10:00.
Happy hour daily from 5-6:30 with deep discounts on rolls, hand rolls, appetizers and drink specials. Mondays from 6:30-close you can enjoy ½ price sushi rolls on 13 varieties (dine-in only).

 |  |  | Poway Sushi Lounge was an idea conceived by two friends working together for another restaurant, Sushi on the Rock in La Jolla and Carlsbad. Katie Rooney was the current Catering Director, having started the department after opening the Carlsbad location and being the Manager of Operations for both locations. Frank Interlandi assisted in the opening and was the Head Chef at that location as well as the main catering chef in addition to working for the company for seven years in both locations.
The two friends re-connected with a past co-worker, sushi chef Eric Wong and brought their fresh, creative cuisine to Poway. After purchasing Sushi Poway, the three partners began three months of remodeling and changes and emerged with a new menu, fresh new décor, and a whole new feel.

Some of the lounge’s favorites include the Tsunami roll, a grilled shrimp, grilled asparagus roll layered in Cajun seared albacore, with a garlic, Serrano chili, cilantro ponzu dipping sauce.
Vegetarians delight in the Lounge Lizard, a roll featuring tempura yellow chili’s, layered in avocado and served with a side of salsa fresca. Meat eaters rejoice in entrees ranging from the Sesame Chicken to the Teriyaki Beef Bento Box. Call ahead any time for full service to-go’s, ranging from dinner for two to party platters for fifty. Poway Sushi Lounge offers full service catering, from office lunches to in-home chefs making sushi for you and your guests. |
