Police seek for car in Oceanside hit-and-run crash that killed bicyclist

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (CNS) – Authorities are asking the general public’s assist Thursday in finding the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run collision between a bicyclist and a car.

The collision occurred on state Route 76 and Singh Manner on Sunday, mentioned Visitors Collision Investigator Jose Gomez of the Oceanside Police Division.

The bicyclist died whereas receiving therapy at a hospital, Gomez mentioned.

The OPD is looking for the suspect car concerned within the collision with the bicyclist, the investigator mentioned.

The car is a silver 2013 or 2015 Kia Optima, which could have injury to the fitting entrance bumper, lacking components to the engine below cowl, and the fitting headlight.

It’s believed that the motive force of the Kia lives within the neighborhood of the collision, Gomez mentioned.
