Police exercise shuts down site visitors on I-5 close to La Jolla Village Drive

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Police exercise briefly shut down site visitors in each instructions on Interstate 5 close to La Jolla Village Drive Thursday morning, authorities mentioned.

In keeping with a SigAlert from California Freeway Patrol, authorities started diverting northbound I-5 motorists to the Nobel Drive off-ramp round 7 a.m.

About quarter-hour later, Caltrans reported all lanes of northbound I-5 at La Jolla Village Drive had been closed because of unspecified police exercise.

In one other replace at 7:28 a.m., Caltrans mentioned all southbound I-5 lanes had been additionally closed, with motorists headed on this course being detoured to the La Jolla Village Drive off-ramp.

The northbound and southbound lanes have since reopened, in line with Caltrans.
