‘Dragon Ball' creator Akira Toriyama dies at 68

Akira Toriyama, the Japanese manga artist who created “Dragon Ball,” handed away on March 1, based on a press release printed by his manufacturing studio on Thursday.

Toriyama, 68, died because of an acute subdural hematoma, and has left “many manga titles and artworks to this world,” the assertion stated.

The studio expressed disappointment and gratefulness to followers, asking for respect towards Toriyama’s household.

Toriyama created the Japanese media franchise “Dragon Ball” in 1984 and was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Leap from 1984 to 1995.
