Man grazed by gunshot whereas strolling with girlfriend

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Detectives are investigating after a person strolling along with his girlfriend was approached by a gaggle and shot at early Wednesday morning.

The San Diego Police Division says it occurred within the Otay Mesa West neighborhood shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Based on officers, the 34-year-old man was strolling on 900 Beyer Means along with his girlfriend after they have been approached by a gaggle of about seven males.

After a quick verbal confrontation, officers say somebody within the group fired roughly seven pictures on the man. He was grazed within the head.

He was taken to a neighborhood hospital the place his damage was decided to be non-life-threatening.

No description of the suspects was made obtainable. Detectives from SDPD’s Southern Division are investigating the incident.
