Man suspected of posing as police officer, making an attempt to lure kids

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities are looking for a person suspected of posing as a police officer and approaching kids within the Jamacha-Lomita neighborhood.

The person falsely identifies himself as a police officer whereas making an attempt to draw kids to his automobile, Lt. Daniel Meyer with the San Diego Police Division mentioned in a information launch on Tuesday.

Round 10 a.m. on Monday, a person approached two kids, a 9 and 10-year-old, at Keiler Park on Woodrow Avenue, in response to authorities. He then allegedly advised the youngsters he was a police officer and tried to lure the youngsters to his automobile to take pictures of them.
