Police looking for suspect after capturing on I-8 in East County

LA MESA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A person was shot whereas driving on a freeway in East County Sunday afternoon and police are actively looking for the one that shot him.

California Freeway Patrol (CHP) responded to the capturing that occurred on Interstate 8 westbound close to Grossmont Blvd. in La Mesa at 3:35 p.m. Sunday.

CHP stories not less than two pictures have been fired, one putting a person driving a pink Chrysler PT Cruiser.

The sufferer, described by police as an El Cajon man of an unspecified age, was taken to the hospital. Police are actively looking for the suspect, who’s described as an grownup man driving a black Ford Fusion.

The motive behind the capturing is unclear presently. No further particulars on the capturing have been launched by police.
